[ARCHIVED] Taylor Police offer Safety Town

Safety Town 2016, brought to you to the Taylor Police Department, is scheduled for morning and afternoon sessions from June 27-July 1 at the Sixth Grade Academy, 13500 Pine Street. Morning sessions are from 10-noon and afternoon sessions are from 1-3.
Safety Town is a week-long program that teaches children how to be safe in their community. It uses hands-on activities taught in a small, pretend town to teach children about the many aspects of safety and injury prevention. Issues like traffic, personal and fire safety will be taught. The program includes a field trip to the Taylor Fire Department.
Safety Town is designed for children entering kindergarten in the fall of 2016. Cost is $20 per child per session. Each child receives a Safety Town T-Shirt, art supplies, course material and snacks.
Turn in all registration materials will your registration fees in an envelope marked "Taylor Safety Town" at the front desk of the police department. Space is limited, to register soon.
