COVID-19 UPDATE: Schools must track, publish confirmed cases of the virus


Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Director Robert Gordon issued an Emergency Order requiring K-12 schools to provide highly visible public notices to the school community about probable and confirmed cases of COVID-19 within 24 hours. This order goes into effect on Monday, October 12. That and more in today’s Wayne County Report for October 7, 2020.

According to countywide health data released for October 6, 2020, Taylor reported eight new COVID-19 cases, increasing its overall total to 1,066. There were no new deaths, so that total remains at 80.
