  • Four-year college baseball starter at Siena Heights College, where he played multiple positions.
  • Held the record for most wins, innings pitched and strikeouts as pitcher. 
  • At his best in the most difficult spots, he had a college playoff record as a starting pitcher of 7-1.
  • Appeared in the NAIA College World Series in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1994.
  • Signed a professional contract with the Montreal Expos. 
  • Named to the Siena Heights Hall of Fame in 2015. 
  • Multiple-sport athlete at Taylor Center High School after excelling in youth sports as a baseball, basketball and hockey player.
  • Four-year high school baseball player, during his final two seasons in high school the Rams went 29-1 and 20-5. 
  • Pitched for Walters Appliance in the AAABA World Series in Johnson, PA (1992).
  • Head coach of the Taylor Northwest Little League State Champions 2005.
  • As a coach, he was active in the Taylor Northwest Little League; Kennedy, Truman and Westland John Glenn high schools; Taylor Mustangs football; Randall and Wareing elementary schools; and with the Taylor Wild and Brownstown Predators hockey.
